Meet Stackwell - the investing platform designed for anyone who feels like investing just isn’t for people like them. Our personalized investment portfolios and culturally-relevant financial wellness education help our communities build wealth and thrive. We’re focused on driving meaningful change, which is why we think beyond the app.
With our evidence-backed playbook, we’ve built programs that create big opportunities and measurable impact. It all starts with our partners. We team up with financial sponsors and community organizations to design programs for our core communities: students, young professionals, small business owners, women, and low-to-middle income families. With the help of our established regional and national network of nonprofits, we get game-changing investments connected to the communities that need them.
Once our programs are up and running, our program participants receive starter capital for investing - eliminating the anxiety of risking personal funds - and culturally-relevant education on market fundamentals, healthy habits for building wealth, and financial goal setting. This approach turns potential into performance, transforming first-time investors into confident wealth-builders. Meet one of our players: Kayla, an HBCU student and first-time investor. She was overwhelmed by the financial world and unsure where to start. With Stackwell program, Kayla received the tools, seed capital, and guidance she needed to grow her confidence and build wealth.
Now, she’s not just an investor - she’s a Stackwell Ambassador, inspiring others in her community to do the same. Our approach consistently lowers barriers, sustains investing behavior, and improves financial health - particularly for women, where we’ve seen narrower gender gaps in investing confidence. Our results speak for themselves. In a recent program, we saw a 2.5x increase in participants reporting high levels of knowledge about investing and 89% of participants feeling like investing is for “people like them”.
