Kidscreen Summit: Global Business Networking & Innovative Strategies for Children’s Content Industry
For the first time, Kidscreen Summit 2024 welcomed over 1,800 delegates from more than 50 countries in San Diego. Participants gathered to take advantage of the best business networking opportunities of the year, engage in critical discussions about industry challenges, and gain inspiration from new ideas and innovative strategies.

This year’s event took place from February 9 to 12. Around 1,500 participants engaged in discussions about the current direction of the children’s content industry. A major highlight of this year’s summit was the Kidscreen Licensing Challenge, a brand-new competition. In this presentation, five children’s entertainment properties competed to determine which IP had the strongest licensing potential.

Darvideo Animation Studio Joins Kidscreen 2025 in San Diego
Darvideo Animation Studio recently took part in Kidscreen Summit 2025, held in San Diego – a key event for professionals in children’s media. For the studio, which specializes in producing animated series for kids, the summit became an essential milestone for immersing deeper into the industry, connecting with like-minded creatives, and expanding its presence in the U.S. market.

Yuriy Polyashko, producer and studio head, actively participated in the event. He highlighted the value of panel discussions focused on cutting-edge technologies in kids’ content – including the use of AI, virtual cameras, and advanced 3D tools that are revolutionizing animation pipelines.
During the summit, Yuriy had the opportunity to network with producers from Nickelodeon, Disney+, PBS Kids, Amazon, Netflix, and other major distributors. He also pitched two of the studio’s upcoming animated series – KIVIS and Beantown Pals – receiving live feedback and valuable insights from industry experts.
“Meeting international producers and decision-makers gave me a clearer understanding of how the business side of the industry works – what channels are looking for, how they invest, and how to position our content more strategically,” – Yuriy Polyashko shared.
The experience offered not just connections, but also practical knowledge to refine pitches, enhance series concepts, and better align with what broadcasters and platforms seek in children’s animated content.
