Modern research is producing a wealth of data - an incredible resource, full of potential insights but the computing needed to analyse the data isn’t keeping up.
The problem? Not enough computing power.

With EGI’s Cloud Compute, ENES has an open, scalable, cloud-enabled data science environment for climate data analysis where scientists can run large-scale models to accelerate climate simulations that inform climate policies.
Off the Spanish coast, marine biologists use real-time data from the OBSEA observatory to monitor the ocean environment. OBSEA uses EGI’s Cloud Compute to process and visualise ocean data as it’s collected - 24/7. In life sciences, WeNMR leverages EGI infrastructure to support over 70,000 scientists worldwide - accelerating protein modelling and drug discovery.
