Story: This is Bob. He is 65 years old and loves to ride his electric bike. He is concerned that in his age group, 81% of all accidents happen when getting on or off a bike without either side. Obviously, Bob wants the saddle to be efficient to look young and fit. But when he suddenly needs to break away, he has trouble keeping his balance.
These accidents usually result in serious hip or leg injuries that are difficult for older people to recover from. Some never do… Bob has learned his lesson, he is afraid and mechanically lowers the saddle. and feels much safer now, but he is slow, his knees are starting to hurt, and he looks old. There has to be a better solution…
The saddle lift a self-adjusting saddle post, depending on the speed of the cyclist. The saddle post rises when the bike accelerates. Bob gains speed and keeps up with the other bikers. And when he has to break, the saddle drops quickly. Bob has both feet on the ground, he feels safe!
