This project was a quest, a journey, a true adventure when the only thing you know is your goal but all the means to reach it is up to you. sweelin is not a regular sweetener that will make you diet coke taste right, for us it became something more, a testament of how creativity and great team can overcome any challenge and make energetic, vibrant and engaging video.

Story
We consume all a lot of sugar which is not good for our health and it’s not great for our little blue planet either.
Introducing sweelin™, a new hyper-sweet protein that is calorie-free and reduces a significant amount of the added sugar without compromising the delicious sweet taste we love.
How do we make it?
We are inspired by nature.
Serendipity berries found in the jungles contain Monellin - a super-sweet protein that, unfortunately, is scarce, expensive, and unstable to heat during food processing.
Monellin, like any protein, is a necklace of pearls on a string.
These pearls are called amino acids and their arrangement gives a protein its properties.
At Amai, we found how to best arrange these pearls, to make a protein that is hyper-sweet and super-stable.
Then, we combine this cutting-edge technology with thousands of years of brewing experience.
Just like brewing beer, we use friendly yeast to brew our sweelin protein.
We teach the yeast how to make the sweelin protein so it can produce the sweelin™ protein we want.
The hardworking yeast does its magic in the brewery.
Once the yeast is done with the fermentation job, we filter the protein out of the fermenter and turn it into a pure white protein powder that is ready to significantly reduce sugar in foods and beverages:
