                              Call to action

                              Call to action

Call to action (CTA) is a phrase or an image that encourages the reader to take some sort of prompt action. It can be as simple as clicking a link to a website or it may be to sign up for your mailing list in return for a free discount. It can also be a product’s landing page or one of the most common ones asking your viewers to like, leave a comment or share your video, blog post, image, etc. on social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook.

The main aim of a CTA is to keep your audiences coming back for more. You’ve got multiple audiences like visitors, customers, leads, promoters, etc. looking at your website. You need the visitors to turn into leads, the leads to become your customers, and then those returning customers to become your brand promoters and get other people to come to you for your services.

There are many different types of CTAs, and each of them has its uses. Lead Generation CTAs are used when you are trying to turn your visitors into your customers. These CTAs are placed on the screen at a place that is eye-catching and designed in a way that lets the viewer know exactly what to expect when they click. You can also place them at the end of animated videos and make a huge impact on your marketing.

Social Sharing is another type of CTA that is found in all websites, blogs, articles, etc. It is one of the simplest CTA that encourages you to share something that you have read or watched with your friends or on your social media handles. Social sharing buttons shouldn’t just be posted on any random place though, you have to make sure that they are in a place that makes sense in your video. People wouldn’t want to click on your CTA if it’s right next to the place where they shared their personal information.

Lead Nurturing is another common CTA that is used to entice the audience that visits your page. When you want to promote your brand or present product demos or offers to attract customers, make use of Lead Nurturing CTA.

You can combine all these CTA with Voiceover CTA and Text CTA as well, where your voiceover artist will simply prompt your viewer to take any action, or in the case of the latter, some text will appear on the screen that will ask the viewer to do the same.
